1973-1976 ಬ್ಯಾಚ್ನ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹೈಸ್ಕೂಲ್, ಗೋಳಿಯಂಗಡಿಯ ಮೊದಲ ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಮಿಲನವನ್ನು 2024ರ ಜನವರಿ 6 ರರಂದು ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು, ಈ ಸಮಯವು ಅವರ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪಡೆದ 50 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಸಾಧನೆಗೆ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕ್ಷಣವಾಯಿತು. ಇದು ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು, ಸ್ನೇಹ ಮತ್ತು ನೆನಪಿನ ಉತ್ಸವವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ 50 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಸಂಘಟಿಸುವುದು ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಶ್ರೀ ವಿನಯ ಕುಮಾರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ವಾಟ್ಸಾಪ್ ಗುಂಪನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿ, ಡಾ. ಟಿ. ಸೀತಾರಾಮ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಡಾ. ದಿನಕರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರ ಬೆಂಬಲ ದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ಬದ್ಧತೆ ಹಾಗು ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ, 35ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಿ ಈ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದರು.
ಸಭಾ ದಿನ - ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹೈಸ್ಕೂಲ್, ಗೋಳಿಯಂಗಡಿ
2024ರ ಜನವರಿ 6 ರಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 10 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ, ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹೈಸ್ಕೂಲ್, ಗೋಳಿಯಂಗಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೆಡೆ ಸೇರಿದರು. ಇದು ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಮತ್ತು ಮನತುಂಬಿದ ಭಾವನೆಗಳ ವಾತಾವರಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಭಾವೋದ್ವೇಗದ ಕ್ಷಣ, ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಮತ್ತು ಸವಿ ನೆನಪುಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳಿOದ ಅಲ್ಲಿ45 ನಿಮಿಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಎಲ್ಲರು ಪ್ರತಿೊಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ತಲ್ಲೀನರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಶಾಲೆಯ
ಮುಖ್ಯೂ ಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರು ಹಳೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಅನಂತರದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಶ್ರೀ ವಿನಯ ಕುಮಾರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಡಾ. ದಿನಕರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಯವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಬೋಧಿಸಿ ಭಾಷಣದಿಂದ ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಓದಿನ ದಿನಗಳ ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು,
ಹಾಗು ಇಂದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜಯಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲಾ ದಿನಗಳ ನೆನಪಿನ ತುಣುಕುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡು, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ, ಶಾಲಾ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಫೋಟೋಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಸಂಭ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಪುನರುಜ್ಜೀವನಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಟಿಂಟನ್ ಅಡ್ವೆಂಚರ್ ರೆಸಾರ್ಟ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಸಂಗಮ
ಶಾಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ನಂತರ, ತಂಡವು ಹೆಂಗಾವಳ್ಳಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಬಳಿ ಇರುವ ಟಿಂಟನ್ ಅಡ್ವೆಂಚರ್ ರೆಸಾರ್ಟ್ ಗೆ ಸಾಗಿತು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲು, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಡಾ. ಸೀತಾರಾಮ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ವಿನಯ ಕುಮಾರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಡಾ. ದಿನಕರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಯವರು ರಚಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಿಸಿದ "ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹೈಸ್ಕೂಲ್, ಗೋಳಿಯಂಗಡಿ - ಸವಿನೆನಪಿನ 50 ವರ್ಷಗಳು" ಎಂಬ ಹೃದಯಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿ ಬರಹವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಲೋಗೊ ಇರುವ ಟಿ-ಶರ್ಟ್ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಶ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದರು. ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉಪಾಹಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಫೋಟೋ ಸೆಷನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆ ಸ್ವ-ಪರಿಚಯ ಸೆಷನ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ತಮ್ಮ 50 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲದ ಪ್ರವಾಸದ ಕಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಹಳೆಯ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ಮತ್ತೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಹಾಸ್ಯ, ನಗು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾತುಕತೆಗಳಿಂದ ವಾತಾವರಣ ತುಂಬಿತ್ತು.
ಶ್ರೀ ಉದಯಕುಮಾರ ಭಟ್, ಸಂತಸದ ನೆನಪಿಗಾಗಿ ಗೇರು ಬೀಜದ ಪ್ಯಾಕೆಟ್ಸ್ಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು, ಮತ್ತು ಇತರರು ಅತ್ರಸ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಖಾದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ಆತಿಥ್ಯದ ಸಂಕೇತವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿದರು.

ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ಊಟದ ನಂತರ, ತಂಡವು ಪುನಃ ಹಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿತು. ಡಾ. ದಿನಕರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಮಹಾಭಾರತದ ಆಯ್ದ ಭಾಗಗಳಿಂದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಥನವನ್ನು ಓದಿದರು. ಈ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಓದುವಿಕೆಯು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿತು. ನಂತರ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸುಮತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜಯಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಯವರು ಮಧುರ ಗಾಯನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮನರಂಜನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

Alumni Reunion of Government High School, Goliangadi (1973-1976 Batch)
The
first-ever alumni reunion of Government High School, Goliangadi, for the
1973-1976 batch was held on January 06, 2024, marking a momentous
occasion—50 years since their admission to the school. It was a
heartfelt celebration of nostalgia, friendship, and cherished memories.
Organizing
this event after five decades was no small feat. Shri Vinaya Kumar Shetty
took the initiative by creating a WhatsApp group, with the support of Dr. T.
Seetharama Shetty and Dr. Dinakar Shetty. Their determined efforts
resulted in contacting more than 35 alumni, bringing them together for this
memorable event.
Reunion Day
at GHS Goliangadi
The alumni
gathered at Government High School, Goliangadi, at 10 a.m. on January
06, in an atmosphere brimming with excitement and a deep sense of
homecoming. The intensity of emotions was palpable, as it took almost 45
minutes for everyone to recognize each other, with eyes brimming with tears
of joy and memories flooding back.
The program
began with Shri Vinaya Kumar Shetty and Dr. Dinakar Shetty
addressing the current students of the school. They shared inspiring stories of
their challenging school days, motivating the students to focus on building a
bright future.
Ms.
Jayalakshmi further added a touch of
nostalgia by recounting fond memories and experiences from their school days,
which deeply resonated with everyone present. Following this, group photographs
were taken alongside the present teachers, capturing the joy and spirit of the
occasion.
A Warm
Get-Together at Tinton Adventure Resort
After the
session at the school, the group proceeded to Tinton Adventure Resort,
near Thombathu, Hengavalli village. Adding a special touch to the
occasion, all the alumni proudly wore T-shirts with a logo and sashes,
designed and sponsored by Dr. Seetharam Shetty, Shri Vinaya Kumar
Shetty, and Dr. Dinakar Shetty. The sashes and T-shirts carried the heartfelt inscription, "Government
High School Goliangadi - 50 Years of Cherished Memories," symbolizing
the enduring bond and nostalgia shared by the batch.
The alumni
were welcomed with a refreshing breakfast and another round of photographs. The
highlight of the morning was the self-introduction session, where
everyone shared stories about their journeys over the past five decades.
Laughter and conversations filled the air as old friends reconnected.
As a
gesture of warmth and tradition, Shri Udaya Kumar Bhat distributed
packets of cashew nuts, while others offered ‘Athrasa’ and other
delicacies to everyone.
Afternoon
Program and Cultural Highlights
Post-lunch,
the group gathered again in the open hall, where Dr. Dinakar Shetty
captivated everyone with a Kavya-vachana session, narrating selected
episodes from the Mahabharata. The literary recitation was deeply
appreciated and added a cultural charm to the reunion. Following this, Ms.
Sumathi and Ms. Jayalakshmi delighted everyone by singing a
melodious duet, adding an element of joy and entertainment to the gathering.
The event
also included a special honoring ceremony, where Dr. Seetharama Shetty
and Shri Vinaya Kumar Shetty were felicitated with shawls for their
immense contributions to organizing the reunion. This touching moment, arranged
by Shreemathi Y, showcased the spirit of gratitude among the group.
A Memorable
Conclusion
The reunion
concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Prabhakar Shetty,
followed by evening tea. The participants expressed their gratitude to Dr.
Seetharam Shetty, Shri Vinaya Kumar Shetty, and Dr. Dinakar
Shetty for their efforts in organizing the program and for sponsoring the T-shirts,
cups, and sashes.
As the
event came to a close, the participants parted ways with smiles, fond memories,
and a renewed bond of friendship, promising to stay connected in the years to
come. The gathering was not just a reunion but a true celebration of life,
camaraderie, and the timeless values instilled by their alma mater, Government
High School, Goliangadi.
